Ground-0 JAVELIN and JAVELIN Integrations - A Flash of Brilliance, or Something Shady?

Formed in 2208 by three college students in their proverbial garage in Singapore, JAVELIN Integrations began as a humble startup by AG racing enthusiasts. Inspired by the international AG Racing scene, but without a race track of their own, they mainly focused on commercial and urban applications of Anti-Gravity technology. Seeking to drastically lower the cost of the technology, they found moderate success in developing personal transport devices and improvements to public transport systems.

None of this would strike anyone as unusual until their completely out-of-left-field announcement that they would be joining the 2224 season of the FX500 Anti-Gravity Racing League as a completely new team, “Ground-0 JAVELIN”. Without the constraints of commercial budgets, their own original AG engine design shows what the minds at JAVELIN can really do. It reads like an inspiring story of three friends, who held on to their passion of AG racing from the very beginning, waiting until they could gather enough funds to begin developing their own race-ready ships and enter the League. They’ve quickly earned a status as likable underdogs from fans, and many are eager to watch their performance in the League going forward.

Or it would be, to a casual observer. Under the hood, rumors of questionable dealings have been circulating, explaining the sudden increase in funding that makes their League debut possible. It is well known that their improvement of public transport systems has led to an increase in contract jobs with the Singaporean government, eventually leading to a long-term contract. However, some speculate the relationship goes deeper, with ties to military weapons research and development. While not unusual for an AG racing team, the secrecy involved definitely is. Some claim to have seen a paper by the founders of JAVELIN from 2217 detailing the beginnings of a revolutionary AG technology built on completely new fundamentals, which was quickly suppressed by the government. There are even claims that JAVELIN has been acquired and is now simply a front-facing puppet company for the government. One can only assume that their motive in joining the League is to raise their profile using this supposed revolutionary AG tech (while keeping it under wraps to avoid the same controversy as 2206) as an attempt to reclaim their status as a global economic superpower from the 21st century.

It seems the surface story is already working to their advantage, even before the season has begun. Many fans are showing their support for the new team, and it’s possible that there are people working at JAVELIN who don’t even know of the rumors, being driven by passion for the sport. Passion is where it all started, but is it where they are now?

Whatever the truth may be, there is one undeniable fact: This is a team you’ll want to keep your eyes on. JAVELIN has their aim set on the Anti-Gravity Racing League, and they are ready to pierce through the competition.
