Yo! My name's funkyzukin, I'm a composer from the Southern USA. This is my first ever BMS file, (charted by isocosa) and it's a Latin-inspired old-school house track. I was inspired by tracks from older IIDX titles, with Shoichiro Hirata being a big influence for this track in particular. I tried to blend Latin/bossa influence with more conventional house elements, with a few funk samples and loops here and there. Probably the strangest thing to be a part of the track was eurobeat, with a eurobeat-esque brass synth being used as a lead at one point.
The BGA was going to be a bit more detailed, but I wasn't able to do what I wanted without a proper scanner or motive, and finding clips that fit wasn't easy, so I ended up scaling it way back. Hopefully one day I'll be able to remake the video. Fun fact: It was actually produced in 16:9 widescreen with important elements being fit within a 4:3 safe-zone. I did it this way so that if I ever bring it to a 16:9-based sim, the cropped version doesn't have to be used. (Also for the eventual YouTube upload.)
That's about it... I hope you enjoy this BMS!

Security Hall lol? honestly the Security Hall sample works a little against this song because it automatically makes me want to go listen to that song instead since it's one of my favorite songs from that game. otherwise this track is insanely good, feels retro with a fresh seaside atmosphere. I love the organ and the synth brass lines... Hope you stick around to make more BMS!
Played the 7K ANOTHER, it's a good pattern with a surprise difficulty burst at the end from the jacks. Pretty memorable without being unfairly difficult.
BGA never loads for me for some reason? (playing on LR2)

Comments: SPI
(Thank you for your hard work.)

I played PMS/SPA-I/5A charts.
When I first heard this track, it reminded me of AV* DE RAPINA on IIDX, but after reading the comments later on, I'm personally very convinced.
I don't know how much you were aware of the reference, but I feel that the creation of a stylish and cheerful atmosphere is familiar to his style, and the result is a great your own respectful style.
Although it's an OLDSKOOL 1:30 scale track, it's packed with electro-piano, pluck, slap and all the sounds you'd expect for this genre. On top of that, I think it to be a lean and refined BMS with scratch-part, irregular rhythms (#032), and difficult spots (e.g.#024).
BGA also matched the Latin flavor, and the mix of scat-like vocals heard in the background sound was perfect, and the rough sketch of the woman in the BGA brought together the oldskool & trendy design.
The only thing that bothered me was #033- where there was a sense that the sounds of the reed piano, background music electro-piano, and brass were clashing with each other. (I don't have any knowledge of music production, so I apologize if this is not helpful.)
I felt that the PMS chart is based on the concept of mixed phrases that are faithful to the basics. Even on the beginner difficulty level (9k-N), it has a consistent kick and melody note arrangement, giving the impression of being an extension of the SP chart.
But in the case of PMS, it's directly related to the size of the device, which has a strong impact on the difficulty. In short, it may be a bit of level spoofing: a 4-bit simultaneous press of two buttons up and down in different stages for a certain length of time is roughly level 20 or higher. If there is an axis, it may be a bit more difficult and could be around level 25. (It's not a substantive issue, so I'm not going to consider it in my evaluation.)
The overall placement was dense and I enjoyed the piano staircase in mixed phrases on the higher difficulty charts. However, the overall separation was too distinct, and I got the impression that it was more like a narrower DP than a PMS. For example, I thought that compromising the lane of the kick and swaying it from side to side to match the panning sound (e.g. #010- orch_(l/r)_*.wav) would give it a more PMS-like feel.
I also felt that 9k-EX #024- repetition of notes with a scale was too much consideration for EX. Placing the notes as they are may increase the difficulty, but that's the inherent potential of the song and I think it's up to the chart creator to design a balance or adjust #TOTAL to highlight it. (Undefined #TOTAL will be taken as a balance error, so for PMS, I recommend about 300 for all charts)
The SP chart was very complete. The jackhammers of the SPA and the random-hitting of the first half of the SPI are interesting. Personally, I think you can feel a good play-feeling even if this random-hitting chart is assigned in PMS :)
The 5k-A seemed to be cut out of the main part of the rhythm and was still sophisticated. It's interesting to play the staircase arrangement with stronger percussion notes.
*Please note that priority is given to scoring and long impressions on production containing PMS. Thanks for your production! (DeepL Translate)
