This song sounds less like a song and more like an attempt at a samplepack/presetpack demonstration to me.
Reason being that, beyond the kicks and basses, it has pretty much nothing to offer (the choiring and hat kind of sit in the background because of how they're mixed/employed).
I think the essence of minimalism isn't about "settling for less", but rather "to do a lot with very little", and that this particular song did the former rather than the latter. With that said I think you could absolutely "continue" this song because it has the fundamentals down and it's just a matter of pushing them. Or just make more music, really. You've gotten the hang of it for the most part.
I played... well, the only chart available (you might want to prepare multiple ones for your future works?).
It has a lot of fidelity with the song which is an important point. However much like the song it doesn't vary much and is, as such, especially unexciting. Also, while HARD judge personally did not bother me, do be aware that EASY judge is much more commonplace, and that it can throw off your average player easily (as evidenced by, for example, Hyparpax's stance on the matter).
An extra tip would be to consider converting your keysounds to OGG once you're done. Here it didn't matter much since there aren't many keysounds, but in the future this might need to be addressed if your BMS end up growing bigger in size.
The song is good, but the newbishness is noticeable in how simple it sounds. I thought it was unfortunate that there were very few changes to the arrangement when it looped. I think you could have spiced it up by adding in new elements - I thought things like acid synth, ethno percussion, etc would have fit the tone you were going for.
In the pattern, I think these scales are too fast and intricate for a level 7 pattern.
The pattern being HARD timing instead of NORMAL or EASY makes me not really want to play it. I wish there was a more standard set of charts. If there were I would have rated this much higher.
The BGA is well made and I think makes the song a lot more memorable.
