April 12, Thursday, 8AM @ Paris, France

Just like every week, I had physical education at school.
But not like every week, I saw something I never knew I wanted to see.

Class began and we warmed up by running a kilometer or two. As usual. But in the middle of my running, I noticed that the sun was much, much brighter than as usual (probably because our schoolyard is huge with no buildings to block the sky, contrary to my neighborhood which is very cramped), and that sight made me unbelievably happy. And at that time I recalled how some acquaintances refer to sunlight as a "natural antidepressant". This is all very funny because I would be the first one to call this situation "generic" and "boring", yet it allowed that Thursday and the rest of the week to make a complete 180 for the better.

But that's not all. Like many artists, ideas pop up in my head at unexpected times (and coincidentally, at times where I am unable to write them down), and the one that popped up at that time was the very first and last notes you can hear in the song. I didn't have to think much about how I wanted to expand from there. Summer, and the euphoria of being on vacations. School ended 2 months after that, which is why I was already "on vacations" in my head.

I polished this song as best as I could through April. Now that we're in October and I've made significant progress in music-making, I look back at the works I made in the first half of 2018 and such and see appaling mistakes (ondanyuugi8 being the worst culprit); yet this song, made in April, has been standing firmly on its own legs and still does. I never doubted its potential since then, and kept it until G2R came.

In fact, I, as a team leader, took the decision to lay down the theme of our team based on this song alone. As such it was solely a matter of luck that bozo and tdef could put through effortlessly with my motives and had song that fit the theme I picked ready.
