The songwriting itself is whimsical and cute in a way that could be interesting in a rhythm game big beat (I feel like there's a 9KEYS influence? Or something like comic magic), but because of the instrument choices they ended up being grating to me. Maybe it would have been better to have something like techno pop for the main instruments, and use chopped up samples of real instruments in the background? Big beat generally takes heavily from samples.
