It’s me, HARI KARI, the slightly more crazy sibling of Nitro. I make both Hardcore & Breakcore, but this year I decided to focus on breakcore since it’s so much fun to make! This song is inspired from my time in Seoul, Korea, and how I felt navigating the Seoul Metro. It’s a huge subway system, and the map is insane! I’ve always loved the look of subway maps though, so it was a thrill.
In similar fashion to last year’s MIRROR FRAGMENT, I wrote some special lyrics and based a loose theme around it, but it’s also combined with some very insane breakcore action. I hope it comes across nicely. Please enjoy!
This is also the only song where I arranged the bms obj (Toaster did the other 3 songs). I’m sorry in advance.

  • HARI KARI (song)

    • The original BGI was a fake subway map, designed with different colored train lines, train stations and everything. I included it in the package! However, I wasn’t satisfied with it, because I actually like metro systems a lot and I felt it wasn’t good enough. I tried a different approach; creating a fractal that evoked the feeling of a large and confusing subway map. It’s something I haven’t done in a long time, but it came out great!

    BOFU2017の中で一番この曲をプレイしました。そのくらい楽しい譜面でした。でも、難易度は全て+2した方が良いと思いました。

    静と動のコントラストのコントロールが上手く働いていないように感じてしまいました…。譜面のソフランもやや過激すぎるかもしれません。

    I dont have much time to complete writing the impression but at least want to say i love the BMS .
